Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas Day. The kids slept in and we actually had to WAKE them up around 7am! Lexi had a cough so she was up early and just about went crazy waiting for everyone else to get up! We stayed home all day and enjoyed visiting with Grammie and PopPop, then Jeff and his family came over. The kids had fun playing with the kitten and playing wii together. It was a lovely day, topped off with snow that night!

Snow Day!

Getting snow in Charlotte is a treat in itself, but what could be better than getting snow in Charlotte when Grammie and PopPop are there??? I know! Having that snow delay their return to Florida and thus getting an extra day with them!!! Oh my, I don't know if the kids were more excited about the snow or about Grammie and PopPop having to stay an extra day, but our White Christmas sure was a dream come true! Even if PopPop got a little carried away with the snowball fight.... ;)

Why yes, that IS a yellow patch in Daniel's snow. But he was outside and he wasn't crying, so I wasn't going to stop him!
