We had the most amazing Thanksgiving this year! It truly felt like a vacation, and a time to just enjoy our family without any stress or craziness (besides the usual!). On Tuesday, Daniel's preschool had their Thanksgiving feast. They sang a couple of songs and then we all dined on Chick Fil A nuggets :) I'm so thankful for his preschool and that he is so happy there. It's been a perfect fit for him this year.

Dave and the kids were all off Wednesday-Friday, so Wednesday the twinnies and I spent most of the day cooking pies and sides for our Thanksgiving dinner. We also spent lots of time outside riding bikes, as well as a good amount of time on the wii :)

This was the first year where the kids were actually interested in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. They snuggled up on the couch and watched the entire 3 hours, then wanted to watch the National Dog Show! I'm not sure they've ever watched so much tv!

Besides the parade and dog show, we also spent a lot of time outside on Thanksgiving. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, so we rode bikes and played a lot. It was such a relaxing, wonderful day and I felt overwhelmed with reasons to be thankful.

We used the self-timer to take a family picture before the meal :)

Afterwards, Dave and I compared our full bellies :)

Daniel cannot be convinced to use silverware when there is chocolate involved! He can't risk missing a single drop!

Emily is so mature and civilized at the table now! Maybe one day her siblings will do the same...

I just adore Thanksgiving, and this year was no different. We have countless reasons to be thankful, and I'm glad to have at least one day set aside to really reflect on those reasons.
